It started early when I met my best friend at the gym to teach her some weight training exercises. I ran 3.5 miles on the 'mill first but I picked one in the sun and was dying of heat exhaustion by the end of it.
Then it was on to squats, lunges, lute bridges, leg presses, and leg curls. We were shaking by the end of it. So perfect.
After a stop at the grocery store, eating breakfast, and catching up on blog reading, I was overcome with a wave of exhaustion that usually comes the day after school gets out. I went outside with a blanket and the book I have to read before my schooling starts in July.
I only read 4 pages before drifting in and out of consciousness for an hour and a half. When I finally pulled myself up, the boyfriend and I decided to take Milo for a short walk around the neighborhood.
We got to hang out with this guy for a little while.
We also saw a baby deer. It was so adorable. I am so glad we get to experience so much nature where we live. The boys also spent a lot of time discussing important things like what the numbers mean on the discs.
Of course, we had to refuel after expending so much energy walking around the course, so boyfriend bought us sandwiches at our local sandwich shop. They are massive. Obviously mine didn't have bread.
I spent the rest of the time getting ready for a big night out on the town. We were supposed to go to a prom themed show at a bar, but we found out it was sold out, so we just went to a different bar for some dancing.
Awkward prom pose.
More awkward prom photos.
We finally got home around 1:30 where I promptly fell asleep. It was an awesome first day off. This morning I didn't wake up until 10:30 when I forced the boyfriend to do the YouTube workout with me.
I don't know if you have the same problem....but I could never fully read the text book assignments that my professors assigned to us! I would always end up falling asleep. That is why I loved going to class so they would demonstrate it and discuss it! Real life experience is much more better than a text book explanation - in my opinion! :)
