They got me a chocolate torte. You better believe I scarfed some down.
Then we came home where boyfriend quickly fixed my mother's sink and I got ready to go out to the party that we thought was last weekend but was actually this weekend.
I ended up putting together my outfit for the party at my lovely friend's house. She helped create my shirt. The party was "beach" themed, and since I don't like my stomach, I opted to wear a shirt over my bikini. We met up with my other beautiful friend and her boyfriend and we danced for literally 3 hours. I was on my feet from 11pm-2:30am. My feet hurt, I was super sweaty, and I couldn't keep my eyes open. But it was so worth it. I skipped the gym, but I definitely got my exercise in last night.
The start of the night. She's wearing a bikini.
Showing off our shoes.
Her glasses fogged up because it was so hot inside.
One of my favorite things about him is that he dances like an idiot with me.
I adore this woman with my whole heart.
This morning I woke up to a text from the same friend above asking if we wanted to go to the river. You know it's FINALLY summer when we get to make our first trek to the river. I grew up on the river and go through withdrawls during the winter season. Of course, the river is still to high and cold to swim in, but we went for the 90 degree weather and the good company. There is no better feeling than coming home after a long day laying on the beach, immersed in the beauty that is our county. I skipped the gym again today (I've been doing this on purpose, I swear! All in preparation for tomorrow morning!!), but the trek to the river was a real workout in itself. It was straight down and then straight back up again. I am counting it as 30 minutes of cardio.

The trek down.
So much sun!
Hanging out with Moe Moe.
He loves sunbathing.

This is our relationship.
The river is so high, but so pretty.
The definition of "hot mess."
Trying to be artsy.
The trek back up...
The hike back up was hard and hot. Mostly hard because I was wearing flip flops. About halfway up, my wonderful boyfriend took off his shoes and gave them to me and he did the rest of the hike in socks. If that's not love, I don't know what is. So, I finished the hike in clown shoes and asked him to take a picture of me in the massive shoes. This is the outcome:
You can't even see the shoes! Men!
Now it's time to go to sleep (it's already too late) so that I can wake up nice and early to get to my RACE. I'm so nervous.
I HOPE YOU HAD AN AWESOME RACE!!!!!!!!!
