Gingerbread, Babies, and Bellydancing

*Before we get started, I just want to say a huge congratulations to my amazing workout partner. Her little girl was born last night at 7:24pm. She is perfect ad beautiful. I can't wait to meet her and to start running with my other workout half again. She's the voice in my head every time I want to give up.*

Friday morning, I was at the gym bright and early. It had been a long time since I had been there in the morning and I forgot how heavy my legs feel in the morning.

I put it into Runkeeper and this happened.

At some point I am going to stop having higher mileage weeks than the previous, but for now, it's kind of exciting. A long day of school later, the boy and I went to my favorite store. And boyfriend went to his favorite section. They were sampling bacon.

I made a delicious dinner of cauliflower cheddar soup, chicken, and Brussels sprouts. It's super obvious I'm not a food blogger.

The rest of my evenin was spent at a play and then I fell asleep. Until 10:30am! I slept almost 12 hours and it was amazing. I haven't slept that long in months. This evening my step mom had her annual gingerbread making party.

I spent the majority of my time like this though.

My best friend and her baby were there and I haven't seen much of them due to our busy schedules. She's already a month old and I absolutely cannot believe it.

Everyone made fun of me because my gingerbread house was completely healthy. My roof was almonds and I used cranberries and coconut. I got bored after the roof, so I gave up to play with the babies.

Then we went to my brother-in-law's work to watch some belly dancing. I so wish I was comfortable enough in my own skin to belly dance. It's such a beautiful art form and I want my hips to move like that!

Tomorrow is already Long Run Sunday! I am cuddled up watching How I Met Your Mother with the boyfriend. A perfect Saturday night.

Great job on the mileage...I'm aiming to get back to 20 miles in the next couple weeks because my next half is in January!
