Where Have I Been?

Thank you so much for the nice comments on my last post! Way to make a girl feel loved.

Ihaven't posted since Wednesday! I haven't gone that long since I was on an island with no cell service and no Internet back in August. I've actually been really busy. So where have I been?

I've been at school. The majority of my time is spent in the same room at school. Luckily I have some pretty awesome friends to talk to and I am learning a lot of really important information. I can also see the bright light. Only one more week and I get an entire week off. We also had our last Saturday class for at least a month and a half. Freedom has never smelled so sweet.

I've been doing homework. The downside of the semester almost ending is that all of the assignments that seemed so far away in August are suddenly becoming due. I worked for a couple of hours on a group project yesterday after class and for about 5 hours today. I haven't even made a dent.

I've been having girl's night. Last night the ladies I've become close friends with and I decided that we would make dinner, sit by the fire, and gossip. We also wanted to knit, but we never really got out the yarn. We ended up being up way last our normal bedtimes laughing until we cried. These ladies are so amazing and I am so lucky to have found them.

I've been running. Along with homework being due comes major procrastination. What better way to procrastinate then to run? I ran 33 miles last week, which is the most I've ever done in a week. Strange that it coincides with how much homework I have due. I should create a graph. Today for my long run, I did half outside and half on the 'mill. I wanted to do the entire thing outside, but we left boyfriend's mom's house way too late. So I ran until it got dark and finished up on the treadmill. It was much more pleasurable.

I've been playing with the baby. There is no one I love more in the world than my niece. She came to girl's night last night and I got to hold her for a good two hours. I think I love her more each time I see her. Of course I got to spend more time with her today at Sunday dinner. She's amazing.

Tomorrow begins my last week in my favorite classroom. I'm in denial, which is never a good thing. But, I've got to stay positive and know that moving on is a good thing.

Good luck at you new placement! You will be great. When I left my first placement I cried. Then when I went to my second placement I cried the first week. I hated how different it was. It ended up being the BEST placement ever. I freakin' loved that classroom! I would have so looped with those kids!!! :)

You will rock it girl...you are amazing!
