Am I One Of Those Morning People Now?

I was up at 4:50 this morning and at the gym by 5:15. I was back at home to eat breakfast by 6:45. I ran 3.2 miles,


did my complete chest and tricep routine


and even showered all before most people wake up. And you know what? I didn't hate it! When 7:30pm finally rolled around and student teaching and all of my classes for the day were finally complete, I got to go home and eat and lay down. I felt so fantastic and energetic all day as well. Let's see if that happens on Thursday when I do it again! 

Until then, I am going to sleep a nice, deep sleep tonight and look like this little one.

    I use to be a morning person! JG and I would be at the gym by 5am.
    That doesn't really happen anymore! When it was really hot and humid this summer, I would get up by 6am and make sure I was out the door by 7am to run.
    Now? I can't seem to get up before 6am!

    1. Oh my gosh! At the gym by 5! I was glad I got there at 5:15! Sometimes, our bodies just want to sleep.

  2. I love waking up early but I like having time to sit around the house before the kids wake up and the madness starts! I give you major props for waking up and going to the gym first thing before breakfast!

    1. I totally understand that. My mom used to do the same thing when we were little. She'd get up really early and have coffee and quiet time and she'd get upset if one of us got up earlier than usual. Mommies need their personal time too! Thanks for the props! :-D

  3. Once I'm in the morning routine it's easy to stay there, but I'm out of the habit. It's SO hard! Great work getting up early!

    1. Thank you! I love her to death. I can tell that the morning routine is going to be easy to stick to, but probably not easy to get back into.
