Hell Week

Last week was literally one of the most stressful weeks of my life. I had two job interviews, a supervisor visit to observe a lesson and work (which includes lesson planning). I had never interviewed before, so I was stressing and had no idea what to expect. I ended the week with two job offers! What did I do this weekend to destress?

I watched the sunset with my mom. And Moe.




I went to the gym. And ran really fast. Every day.


I hung out with my favorite little lady.



I finally got to catch up with my best friend from high school.



I had adult game night.



I went to the river and sat in the sun for four hours with my favorite people.



I made daisy chains.



I also went to see Les Mis, stayed out until 3:30am, had breakfast in bed made for me, ran 8.6 miles, and had family dinner night. I basically did everything that I love doing and I finally feel de-stressed from last week.

      Thank you so much! I have accepted one and I will be signing the contract soon! I am nervous and excited and a million trillion other feelings all at once.

      Thank you so much! I chose the special day class. The students are high school age, so it's perfect for me.

      Thank you! I've actually only ever seen one snake at the river. It was IN the river with me. I don't have a problem with snakes, but swimming with one was a little too much. I immediately got out.

      Thank you, thank you! I have made the big decision. I had the weekend to think it over and I went for it. I had to go with what my heart was saying.

    Congrats on your first interview and your job offers! I have seen Les mis in London but had fallen asleep so I think I need to see it again some where!

      Thank you! I may have fallen asleep during Les Mis this last weekend too. The ending is just ballads. It's beautiful music, but it was 11pm and that's way past this grandma's bedtime!!
